Here are some tips on how to check how much RAM you are using and if you need to upgrade

Are you experiencing slow and a laggy Computer? It is possible that your machine might running out RAM. RAM (Random Access memory) are computer chips that only remember things while your PC is on. They’re used for storing whatever a computer is working on in the very short term.

How do you check your ram?

For Windows:

Open the Start menu, select “Settings,” then “System,” and then click “About”

You can see the “Installed memory section(RAM)”

For Macs:

Click the Apple menu and select “About This Mac.” This will open a small window with some basic information about your system.

 

How to Check you current RAM usage:

In Windows:

Open Task manager to know how much ram your PC is currently using.

Press Ctrl+⇧ Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager.

Click the “Performance” tab. If you don’t see this tab, click the “More details” option at the bottom of the window. Then select the “Memory option”. This will allow you to see your RAM usage.

In Mac:

Click “More Info” and then “Memory” tab to see the layout.

Click the “Memory upgrade Instructions” for details on upgrading your RAM.

Check your current RAM usage. The Activity Monitor will allow you to see how much RAM is being used and how much is available.
