Yesterday, Apple released the much-awaited iOS 11 updates for all compatible devices. So what does it really offer? does it worth the upgrade? Well, it can now support for augmented reality to peer-to-peer payments via your Apple hardware.
Here’s a roundup for some of the new improvements that are about to come your way(if you haven’t upgraded yet).
Augmented Reality
This may be late for Apple to include AR in its platform, but hey better late that never! AR has been in a while for many devices now and in Apple’s term, iOS 11 will be its foothold for AR Apps. This may be designed for future iPhone products but it’ll also work with compatible devices.
Camera enhancements
The best thing a software upgrade can do is to how it can make existing hardware even better. In this case, older iPhones will get the same camera improvements just like in the new ones. For example, the iPhone 7 Plus will now have optical image stabilization, True Tone flash, and HDR in its Portrait mode. Also, live photos will have additional upgrades with the loop and bounce effects(making more entertaining gifs).
Siri just got even better
You can now translate directly from Siri. It can translate US English into Mandarin, French, German, Italian or Spanish. Also, it features a more natural expressive tone just like a human does.
Apple Pay
Perhaps the most convenient way to send money to someone is to send it instantly via a message. With Apple Pay, users will be able to send and receive money from friends and family quickly, easily and securely.
