Big changes to YouTube’s look and feel: Updates its logo for the first time

From its desktop version and mobile App, YouTube got significant big updates.  A lot of new stuff to take in. With a bunch of big changes and design tweaks, we’ll always get excited about the upgrades!

Here’s a summary of everything new:

The new logo: removing the emphasis on “Tube” and putting the play button icon on the left side.

It also now offers Dark mode! Dark theme turns the light surfaces of the page dark, creating an experience ideal for night. You can enable dark mode only on the browser Desktop version. To activate it, go to your Account menu and locate Dark Theme.

In its mobile app btw, a lot has changed also: a more white space header and no red banner on top. It can also now feature an adaptive player that can display vertical video playback.
